Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Sole ("we," "us") collects when you use getsole.co and our service, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short and plain on purpose. Questions? Email hello@getsole.co.

1. Information we collect

• Information you give us. Your email address (when you join our list or check out), your name and billing details (at checkout), and the business idea you type into our demo, signup, or checkout.
• Payment information. Card details are entered on and handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage information. Basic, privacy-friendly analytics about page visits (aggregate, cookieless). We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

2. How we use it

• To provide the service — research, branding, a plan, and a live site for your idea.
• To process your subscription and send transactional messages (welcome, receipts, reports).
• To send updates and marketing emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.
• To operate, secure, and improve the product.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Who we share it with (service providers)

We share only what's necessary with vendors who process data on our behalf:

Resend	Sending email (welcome, reports, updates)
Anthropic	AI processing — the business idea you submit is sent to Anthropic's API to generate your brand, plan, and site
Vercel	Website hosting and cookieless analytics

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights and users' safety.

4. AI processing of your idea

The business idea you submit is sent to Anthropic's AI to generate outputs. Don't submit confidential or sensitive personal information in the idea field — treat it like a public description of what you want built.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account/subscription is active and as needed to run the service and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below).

6. Your choices & rights

• Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message.
• Access or delete your data — email hello@getsole.co and we'll handle it.
• Depending on where you live (e.g., California), you may have additional rights to access, delete, or opt out of the "sale/sharing" of personal information. We don't sell or share it for cross-context advertising. To exercise any right, just email us.

7. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Sole isn't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; we'll change the "Effective" date above and, for material changes, give notice.
